PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

Comik Bitumik waterproofing membrane is a high quality torch, manufactured from a mixture rich in bitumen and polypropylene, reinforced with polymer and Spunbond non-woven Polyester fibers. Products with high durability in tropical climate conditions. Great stability and high mechanical properties.

CONMIK BITUMIK PRODUCT APPLICATIONS:

Conmik Bitumik waterproofing membrane is used for surfaces that need waterproofing including:

• Sloping roofs before tiling

CONSTRUCTION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Prepare the surface

– The concrete surface is ground to remove burrs and excess iron tips are cut off

– Clean the surface with layers of sand dust or cement and mortar chips to avoid damaging the waterproofing membrane

– Flatten and round the corners of walls, railings or floor panel joints

– The surface to be handed over before waterproofing construction must be clean and smooth.

2. Applying the lining layer:

– Apply or roll with a roller or paint brush a thin and even layer of primer onto the prepared concrete surface. Prime the area where the waterproofing membrane can be applied during the day.

– After applying the primer about 2-3 hours, the protective film can be applied (under normal weather conditions).

3. Construction of hot glued panels:

– Place the roll of adhesive sheet on the surface to be waterproofed, rolling and spreading the film roll in a straight line

– Use the heat torch method with a torch and gas, evenly blow the underside of the membrane until the membrane flows and adheres to the applied primer layer.

– Minimum eyelid support: 10cm

– For sloping roof areas, construct from low to gradually higher positions.
 

4. Inspection and maintenance

– After completing the pasting of the sheet, it is necessary to re-check the joints and overlaps. Can be thoroughly torched to ensure waterproofing quality

– Should be coated with protective mortar; Paste tiles or pour concrete to protect the waterproofing membrane before applying the next steps.

5. Packaging and preservation:

– Packaging: 10m/roll, 25 rolls/pallet

– Thickness 3mm, 4mm

– Storage: place in a dry place, temperature > 50C; Stay away from heat sources that may generate heat

– Rolls or pallets need to be upright and not placed on top of each other
